I am a graphic designer who was born in Japan and currently lives in Minnesota .
I have always enjoyed drawing and visual projects since I was a child. While working as a project manager in the translation industry for 10 years, my growing passion toward graphic design couldn’t be ignored. The translation industry, and being an immigrant myself, taught me the power of visual designs and the importance of translating in the most accurate and easily digestible way possible.
I decided to leave my project manager job and start over to study graphic design at Dakota County Technical College in 2021. I am working on variety of projects to polish my graphic design skills.
10 years of experience defining project scope, solving problems, communicating with clients/vendors/internal teams, budgeting, scheduling, checking quality and delivering on time under high pressure.
In addition to being naturally efficient and detail oriented, my quality check experience on hundreds of documents helps me be aware of technical errors.
A part of my creativity comes from the fact that I can see things from many different angles, which is based on my multicultural background, education and work experience, and my personality where I want to be exceptional.
